I grew up with the Jacksons. When I started in radio I had the chance to interview his sister Rebbie and all I could think the whole time was how close I was to Michael. Michael should be remembered not only for his extraordinary career in music and dance but for all he did in the world. He gave not only his talent but his love, compassion and his money to help to the children of the world. His difficult childhood made him a very understanding and giving human being. I will miss him as will the world but one thing for sure is that his legend will live on forever. There is so much good to say about Michael and how he changed the world for the better in the short time that God allowed us to share him. My prayers are with the family and his children. Michael you will be missed but know that your goods deeds and legend will live forever. DJ K-Lee http://kncproductions.blogspot.com/
I remember playing so much of his music all of my life. I wore out a Thriller cassette tape playing it in my boom box as a kid. His messages of peace, love, and compassion touched us all. He was Honored by several presidents, and by the music community because of his passion to help others. In his later albums he trancended cultures and crossed barriers with progessivly exceptional work. He pushed himself to the limmit for his fans. God bless him.
A foot note: I found it funny that media in the last few days now try to distance themselves from the discrace they placed apon him when he needed them most. I never belived the stories. I think what you had there were people looking for a hand out at a ledgends expense.
God bless Michael Jackson again, and again. Thank you for all the great music, and good times you gave to me..........

Michael was a good performer.....no more. His impact on music was no more important than that of Frank Sinatra or the great Count Basie and many, many more. His music will NOT live on forever as people might like to say. I doubt 50 years from now people will be singin' Billie Jean or Beat It, but the music of Mozart or Beethoven will live on much, much longer. Yes, I enjoyed his music, but lets put things in to perspective. Get a life people! The hoopla surrounding him has got to stop!
I'm sorry but I didn't get his music, and his stage show never changed. Almost anyone could see that he was ashamed ,somehow, of his appearance which is the sign of a weak mind, but far be it for me to speak harshly of the recently departed. I have far more "friends" of Michael to aim my venom at. I never wish harm to come to any man but all of you phonies crying and sobbing over him now reeks of B.S. All those people today leeched off Michael when while he lived and now are swarming around his casket like a bunch of maggots!!! MAYBE HE IS BETTER OFF WITHOUT ALL OF YOU!!! I still don't understand your artistic appeal Michael but in the end it is time that will be the ultimate judge of your legacy. Those who swarmed around you in life can find someone else to suck the life out of, and I hope you can find real peace!
With the passing of Micheal Jackson I knew what was going to happen. The fueding over the children, the will and the cost of the memorial last night at the Staple Center. What a shame that will over-shadow his contributions as one of the biggest entertainers the world will ever see. R.I.P MJ
I THINK ALL OF YALL SHOULD JUST SHUT YOUR HORSE TRAPS OK GET IT STRAIGHT!!!! I KNOW HE IS IN A BETTER PLACE THEN THIS SO CALLED EARTH JESUS IS COMING BACK OK OK OK MAKE SURE YOU GET SAVED BEFORE TIME RUNS OUT
There is a novel called Montyne's Inferno that may tell a truth about Jackson that has never been told before. Just wish it was discovered before he passed on....
RIP MJ
