Enchanted Kingdom LLC? - Join the investigation!

I love making researches on my own. But this time I would invite the readers of my blog for a "joint-investigation"!

In a 2010 creditors claim against the Michael Jackson Estate an unknown MJ company's name appeared, called "Enchanted Kingdom LLC". The company is registered in Nevada, still active and is managed by John Branca for a while.

If you have any knowledge of this company, POST your information as a comment!

On a sidenote, The Michael Jackson Company LLC has been just incorporated in California as well due to the Howard Mann case.

Enchanted Kingdom:

Described as a world-class theme park in the Philippines, the park was conceptualized by the Landmark Entertainment Group, modeled after Knott's Berry Farm in California, and built at a cost of P1.2-billion. Initially, the park was owned and operated by Amtrust Leisure Corporation (ALC) [*a Philippine-based company(?)], which was wholly owned by Amtrust Holdings, Inc. (AHI). The park is now managed and operated by Enchanted Kingdom, Inc.It is the first park of its kind in the Philippines, opened to the public on July 28, 1995.

Landmark Entertainment Group:

According to the time.com article, MJ had been closely associated w/ Prince al Waleed since 1994, and by 1997, they had gone into several biz ventures together.

[excerpts, 1997]
The Alwaleed-Jackson company [Kingdom Entertainment] also acquired 55% ownership of Landmark Entertainment Group, famous for such design projects as the Forum shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and the Terminator II 3-D ride at Universal Studio's park in Orlando, Fla...
...
Jackson has plenty of new moves in mind. They include a Kingdom Entertainment movie starring himself, to be filmed next year and, not surprisingly, exploiting his and the prince's shared interest in theme parks...

[side note: at the time of the article (1997) the Prince already owned 24% of Disneyland Paris.]

Leslie, info on Enchanted Kingdom, LLC per NV SOS website: File date 3/17/2008, entity E0171382008-2; NV business ID NV20081618554. Registered agent CSC Services of Nevada, LV, NV; status listed as "active"; no stock records found.

Under "officers" is John Gregory Branca, as "manager", with his office address.

Amendments:
Articles of Organization filed 3/17/2008.
Reinstatement filed 8/19/2010 (most likely reinstatement filed due to failure to file between 2008 and 2010).
Acceptance of Registered agent filed 8/19/10.

Note: Business license expires 3/31/11 and list of officers due 3/31/11 (yesterday), so this LLC will lose its active status if these docs were not filed. (They may have been filed but do not show up yet in NV corporate records).

Hope this helps you.

Wow, this is why I love coming to this site because there are many highly intelligent people here.

I was going to make a wild guess it tied in the MJ Cirque in Vegas, and glad I didn't put any money on a bet. lol

Thank you everyone...I walk away today with more history of MJ.

Hi,

Thanks for all the contribution.

I have doubts about if this company has anything to do with the theme park in the Philippines. We should collect more information from that time...

What I found is that there is a company registered in Delaware, called "Enchanted Kingdom Inc" that actually really has connections to that theme park. The question is, why would they register an LLC in Nevada to control the same entity (Delaware has more favorable tax regulations).

What I find very interesting about the time.com-article:

- Ben Ammar complains that no matter what Jackson does, it tends to come out negative in the press. For example, Ben Ammar says, Jackson's recent tour--42 gigs in Europe and South Africa--was a commercial smash, yet it received mainly sniping coverage. According to Ben Ammar, the tour matched the $100 million gross brought in by Jackson's 1996 swing through Asia, and was even more profitable, because operational costs were slashed 50%. Ben Ammar says Jackson netted $15 million instead of going in the red.-

What about all those articles we read over the years about MJ making 1-2 million per concert of the HIStory-Tour (or even more)?
If the numbers above are correct (and the prince should know) he didn't even make 1/3 of a million.
And even worse: during the first leg of that tour they actually made a loss?

And how come they actually were able to cut the operationable cost of the second leg by 50% (!!!)?
What were they doing before?

Leslie Peter Lopez had something to do with this company,

@ Anonymous,

After 1993 there began a subtle shift to making Michael out to be a petulant spendthrift who would not be advised by those who could control his fortune better than he. After 2003 he became the man who could do no right. Once it was proven it was more profitable to apply the failure label to Michael the businessman/entertainer there was not going to be any objective reporting on his successes and failures.

@ Leslie,
Under which of the Sony affiliates will I find the Sony/ATV listed?

Leslie,

Check out page 8 from this creditor's claim from Michael's gardener at Carolwood. Looks like Enchanted Kingdom LLC paid $10K of a $14K bill.

The very suspicious and timed death of Peter Lopez needs to be thoroughly investigated.

The FBI and CIA should be involved in the investigations into the massive plan and its subsequent coverup, across state borders and continents, to murder MJ.
